Looking back, I realize my folks had very little understanding of time management. One is always late (often by HOURS) and the other lives in chaos; surrounded by overflowing counters and cupboards.

I have made a lifetime effort of keeping my space neat and projects attended to in a timely manner. My husband and I have worked to teach our son the skills he will need. At 8, he’s far more organized than I ever was (until after I married!).

I wanted to say that this site has helped immensely in this area. You have given me a yardstick by which to measure what skills are reasonable for his age and gives me an idea of what steps are next. Thank you!
